Completed my illuminated manuscript of Psalm 93 in time for Mother's Day!
I used a modern variation of the Beneventan hand, which was most widely used in southern Italy in the middle ages. The historical script had lots of ligatures, but those are hard for modern readers, so I didn't use any here. This is also the hand where our modern question mark originated.
Update from the eManuSkript project: we've mocked up a website with a holistic interface for all the apps; we're starting tagging of the 200GB supplementary training set for our neural network; the students are developing script & #manuscript training sets for online tutorials; and much, much more. I have such a brilliant team!
For 600 years the Voynich manuscript has remained a mystery—now, researchers think it's partly about sex ** the culture of late-medieval #Gynecology and #Sexology—which physicians at the time often referred to as "women's secrets."

Friends of #LibraryStampMadness, isn't it beautiful when a centuries old #manuscript page meets a library stamp, and this very stamp exactly fits into the empty space left over for a forgotten miniature?
We may imagine the librarian smiling when stamping this at the Vatican Library.
