Is it #metal that the psychedelic doom metal festival I'm attending tonight is on the premises of Stockholm's most well-known #gay club, on a boat? I asked Rob Halford, and as he donned a sailor's cap he told me, "Yes, my son. It is metal."

John Philip Sousa is an important name in my family. He recruited my great grandfather to play clarinet in his world famous band. This Memorial Day I am remembering his daughter, my grandmother, who died last year. She was tremendously proud of her Italian heritage and her father's journey in life.
Zespół znany fanom metalu w latach 90., działający długo później, mający górki i dołki, niejednokrotnie powodowane przerośniętym ego wokalisty, Burtona Bella.
Mortal Kombat? Cokolwiek innego?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCYLXi7zogU
A new find for this week's #ThursDeath, another band I found via a flyer of a band I dig (I forget who) since both bands are playing together soon.
Chicago's VOIMATON play a great, chuggy mix of death doom that is infectious. It's tough to make a full length death metal album and make the whole thing damn great, but Voimaton definitely did with 2022's 'Profane Vestige'.
I’m mostly listening to the following bands right now, I suppose kind of drone / doom / stoner / dark ambient #metal. It’s kind of comforting, like being under a very heavy weighted blanket with a sleeping mammoth on top of it:
