How long will we be able to hold back the impact of #ClimateBreakdown ?

Visited the #Norfolk seaside today and walked from Cromer to Overstrand. This is not the worst impacted section of our coast by any means, in terms of coastal erosion or rising sea levels, but the evidence of the tension was there nonetheless.

Crumbling cliffs with exposed roots of plants from recent falls.

Groynes - old ones in disrepair, new ones built as back up.

This made me smile! Cromer is famous for its crabs.

But I didn’t see any live (or recently deceased ones on the beach).

How are our water companies filthy habits impacting the nature along our beautiful coastline?

Grimes Graves isn’t as grim as it sounds. A field of craters that were prehistoric mineshafts. It’s a contemporary of Stonehenge, but nowhere near as well known even in the UK. It’s a secret…but maybe it will now become better known.

Good to learn Sir Yarmouth of Brandon "won't be standing" (cowards jumping before they are ejected). Looking forward to the disclosure that his confederate Linky Liz Truss of Thetford will do the county the same favour.

Because if there's something of value to be trashed, say.. i dunno, a chalk river valley SSSI for example, or your Pension Fund valuation, there's a lining up to advocate for just that, in exhange for a few "donations to the fighting fund" .

Will West re-elect Liz ?

Nothing says desperate for the farmer and Christian vote like grabbing a lamb as if you’ve never even held a pet hamster in your life and standing outside a burnt out derelict church…

There are other options folks at the ballot box…please use them.

I do not wish to suggest simple reasons for complex water systems, but this piece suggests excessive rain is impacting the water level of the in while not considering why that is happening.

There is no consideration that it may be due to changing weather patterns caused by breakdown. Why?

The derailment occurred when an eastbound train struck another eastbound train stopped on the same track.
An oncoming westbound train then collided with the wreckage that had careened onto the adjacent track.

Multiple cars left the track and were strewn across the southern bank of the river.
Parts of locomotives could be seen in or immediately adjacent to the river.

An unknown quantity of diesel fuel spilled into the river, and responders set up absorbent booms to collect it.
called it a small diesel fuel leak “common when locomotives are involved” that was contained with the booms and would be “vacuumed out.”
A “minimal” amount of polypropylene plastic pellets from one car also spilled, according to the police chief.

This is just a crumb of the kind of funds needed for flood prevention in . It’s too little, too late for those already have had their homes flooded.

Residents wait for years for action,129 homes most recently flooded and they are told it will be fixed long term with £150K.

Wake up to reality, don’t vote .
