Done with Chapter 3 #Crystalline - The epic-ness of the final battles was offset with the chapter ending at #Stonehenge for some reason 😛...now on to chapter 4 #Brutality
Lectura recomendada.
Finally I unboxed my copy of Doom Guy, John Romero's book.
It is hardcover, beautiful firey colors, some might say, hell-ish. xD
Looking forward to read it. Fonts are a little bit small, but I think then the book would have 50+ more pages. I don't mind reading, I am just getting older I guess.
#JohnRomero's #DoomGuy was a pretty entertaining read even though much of the story has already been told in #MastersOfDoom. After finishing it I went ahead and played through the original #Doom. 30y on it's still tons of fun and provides loads of goosebump moments :-)
I had the pleasure of seeing #JohnRomero at a conference in #Berlin a while back - his stories about making and breaking with #Wolfenstein3D and #Doom are basically my dreams of the 90s. For anyone into this stuff, I can't recommend David Kushner's Masters of Doom enough - and the audiobook is available on Audible and narrated by Wil fucking Wheaton! A couple of days ago John's own book #DoomGuy was released: https://romero.com/shop/p/doomguy
I've been waiting months for this! I want to share my excitement and appreciation for this signed copy of Doom Guy: Life in First Person by John Romero.
I'm sure many of you are excited as well. Stoked to start it this weekend.
Remember the time I asked a friend of mine to send me a green Power Helmet in #AnimalCrossing just so I could take a quick #meme shot of me as #DoomGuy next to #Isabelle?
