I maintain a calendar of on-air events for slow-speed morse code. Hopefully, this will be useful to anyone actively learning CW. Let me know if I am missing any events. Thanks!
I wanted to stop traveling with my J-38 straight key as it is a gift from a friend I don't want to damage. As a remedy, I found a miniature CW key, complete with 3.5mm jack, cable, and travel case for about 30 bucks on Amazon that turns out to be of nice quality. Hope someone else might find this useful: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CJ4X24J9?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share#HamRadio#MorseCode#QRP#CW

Pretty fun drive up outing with the KH1. Parked, stepped away from the car and got on the air. I worked every band with the whip (AX1 extension and 33' counterpoise for 30 and 40m). Wrapped things up with a cross-mode QSO on 40m. K6ARK touch paddles worked great! #HamRadio#MorseCode#KH1
So you think that your #morsecode isn't up to much and are worried you'll make a hash of it on air? CW operators WANT you on air, so just jump on in, please. Øystein LB8IJ sets a great example here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZw_gvOUi5s
