Hmm. This week's #JMusicFriday theme is #obscure . That one is a bit trickier because I don't really know what people know well since I already don't listen to the most popular stuff and find things more indirectly and backwards than most people do (particularly since I listen more to #utaite than anything else.) Mary did this cover 7 years ago of a song that doesn't seem well known as far as I can tell though and it's really pleasant to listen to, so I'll s hare it:
mentioned nowhere in cyan's history is this bizarre 3d puzzle platformer they published in 2007
a company called Power of Entertainment seems to have done the heavy lifting, with cyan supplying the Cosmic Osmo license... which was ahem, artistically interpreted 😅
I lasted 5 minutes on #Threads... It is full of people talking just about threads and waiting for somebody to tell them what to do.
I didn't see a single rabbit hole to dissappear down or meet any weird Iranian bat breeders or people posting moldy trees and tagging them with #Mosstodon or something.
So I won't be going back there, although it's nothing like as bad as #Bluesky
Time for a new video! I've been working on this way too much over the last two weeks! Here's a look at every single official Sega game releases for the MSX and you'll probably find a surprise or two in this one!
m/vintageobscura is open for business! Share and enjoy obscure and esoteric music from the past
Since I enjoyed the reddit version of this, I thought I'd start one on kbin....
