If you're into vore, you should know that one of Quake 2's expansion packs lets you set a trap that kills and compresses Strogg into a food pellet that you can eat for health.

Quake 2 is on sale right now on Steam. :)

We managed to get the security cameras working in the mall. Hopefully nothing should be able to sneak up on you now.

Lol.

Lmao even.

Player viewing footage from a security camera.

The 2nd episode of Supplice is looking pretty good.

The 1st level is like a survival horror. Very challenging.

The 2nd level, pictured here, reverts back to the gameplay established in the 1st episode.

Plenty of frantic and meaty combat.

The level design and music here are both fantastic.

We're getting closer to the City now. Still a little more ground to cover, and a lot of rads between us and them. Maybe we'll take the train.

Doom on the PSX was my first experience with this iconic game.

I was first introduced to it on a demo disc and before finally getting a copy. I played it for hours.

There really wasn't anything like it.

To this day it holds up as a perfect symphony of spooky atmosphere, amazing level design and visceral combat.

Realistic and believable environments: a Build Engine staple.

Please let this be a normal field trip!

Arrange Mode for Ion Fury keeps surprising me.

Usually at the midway point where you fight the mech you unlock the chain-gun. Here, you fight a much tougher mech, but it drops The Homewrecker from Aftershock.

State-of-the-Art Bang-Bang!

The Age of Hell is here, at least in demo form.

If you're not yet tired of killing hordes of demons in dark, moody and foreboding environments then this one is for you.

It's like if you made an early 2000s European power metal album into a Retro FPS - It would probably look, feel and sound a little like this.

The map design is off the charts, enemy sprites are nice, guns feel great.

Good stuff.

Arrange Mode for Ion Fury hits different.

And why am I hearing Chemical Plant Zone's music?

Ion Fury: Aftershock makes me wish more games used the Build Engine.

I know it's a pain in the ass to develop on, but something about the look and feel - It's so gritty and visceral.

Almost completely inaccessible due to the high levels of radioactivity, the northern part of the city was ground zero for the missile that killed this once thriving metropolis.
Though impossible to approach, deep underground you can find remnants of what once was.
But do not stay long. These ruins hold more than just dust and lost souls.

One thing that really closes the loop on Ion Fury: Aftershock feeling like a genuine throwback is the music.

Jarkko Rotsten's tracker soundtrack, consisting of bouncing techno tracks and lively melodies fits perfectly with the enhanced Build Engine visuals and cyberpunk aesthetic.

It perfectly encapsulates that late 90s vibe.
