Today I have been dusting my displayed models with a soft brush and an airbrush.

They no longer look like they are in a snow scene.

Below you have a blurry photo of the large shelves.

Let me know if you'd like a clearer look at any of the fuzzy blobs of colour (many, but not all have been shared on sm).

With that in mind, here's some clear photos of my Dire Avenger Exarch and the sculpted Venus statue I made for the basing.

Front view of the Dire Avenger Exarch leaping from the shoulder of a vine-covered statue.

Top: Space Shuttle, Tiger, Cobra, Hind, A-10, Hokum. 3rd: 2x Honda motocycles, Impreza, Apache, Pucara, Lightning, Bell 47, Lynx, Sea Harrier. 2nd: Wave Serpent, Predator tank, Black Hawk (needs repairs), 3x Harriers, Super Étendard, some Mig, Sky hawk, Lynx. Bottom row: Warhammer 40000 miniatures.

I placed the finished chimney and the steam dome on top of the boiler to try it out (without gluing it yet). It starts to look like a train. Also, I'm past two thirds of numbered parts, the end is nigh (in 3-4 months).

Tada! Here is the completed load on the flat car. I think it turned out pretty well. I learned a few things that I would do differently next time, mostly trying to be more careful to keep the things straight and more unform (but not too uniform).

N-gauge house.
Repaired and re-painted.

This little house (1:160 scale), was in a sorry state when I got my hands on it.

I repaired some minor damage, gave it some interior furniture, mounted it on a base and painted it up.

This hut was built from mainly mis-casts of my multi-part wooden hut kit. With a few scratchbuilt parts to give it "life".
28mm (1:56) scale.

The kit were made for me to learn about model kit production and see if it was a good direction to go in.

This model stands as an example of what can be achieved with my kit, and a little skill.

Front view of a wooden hut. The door is closed. Some damage can be seen in the roof. A storage tank can been seen to one side and a metal "crow's nest" is on the roof.
Side view of a wooden hut. A storage tank can been seen in the centre of the picture. A ladder leads up to a metal "crow's nest" on the roof.
Side view of a wooden hut. This wall is broken open in an apparent explosion from inside.

@DrH@warhammer.social avatar

As designed, the door for my hut kit includes a hinge and can be opened.

This allows you to see what you have placed inside, as an alternative to a removable roof... or a big hole in the wall, which you can also have with a little modelling skill.

Multi-ped Forklift. 28mm (1:56 scale).

Scratchbuilt in mostly plastic. Designed for a near-future aesthetic.

The "hips" are a metal paint pot and the top half sits on a magnet that allows it to swivel.

The cab has a full interior with seat, controls and monitors.

And the pallets were made to fit on the forks.

I painted the top half white instead of a matching yellow to show that 2 forklifts had been combined into 1 working vehicle.

This trench diorama was built as a prize for a competition on DakkaDakka.

The story behind this section is that it was damaged by some explosion and then repaired with whatever junk could be found.

There's also a lot of small details to give it a lived-in feel.

I also added various other signs and symbols about the model to give it a real world feel.
