@stooovie@digga_mies@3dprinting I would start with checking you're not trying to print as fast as PLA, if that's not the issue definitely dry it as recommended, if it's still a problem and you are running pressure advance you may need to re-tune that for PETG. I would try all those before buying anything. I've never needed special nozzles for PETG.
@erikcats yes! It works well, sorry I never got around to the tutorial. The end/beginning of the year was a bit crazy and then I had projects I wanted to finish before Adepticon. Maybe I can take some photos and put it together this week. It's pretty simple.
@ethanOS the original announcement did not say what Stormcast units are going to legends. It was really poorly communicated. Other than the heroes you can probably expect most of the normal units to get new sculpts and warscrolls and continue on.
The security camera company #Arlo has emailed everyone to say that they are introducing a "Fair usage policy" to their plans because they noticed that a number of accounts are using a lot of #cloudStorage.
So, what is considered "fair usage" of a cloud subscription you pay £11/month for?
It's going from an unlimited number of 30 second clips over 30 days, to a limit of 60 clips at 30 second each over 30 days.
Or, you pay an additional £13 per camera per month, on top of the £11.
Finally had everything I needed to dip a toe in airbrushing, and what better way to learn than priming? I used #vallejo primer, thinned with their thinner for black. Learned a bunch about technique and maintenance. Used #thearmypainter fanatic Matt White for the zenithal. It is so thick. Used thinner with it 50/50. Also learned you can’t mix the fanatic paint in the airbrush cup. Looking forward to trying speedpaint with the airbrush #miniaturepainting
@PhillGreen silicone mixing cups are good for pre mixing paints for your airbrush. Dried paint peels right off. Something like this makes pouring into the brush easy. https://a.co/d/d4by9aK
Painted Susan Sto Helit (Death's granddaughter in Discworld) this morning.
Three different types of black (grey cloak, purple skirt and corset and sharp highlights on the boots) with three highlight layers. Two or three highlights on the skin. And two highlights on the white hair. The black hair, metal and wood only got one highlight.
Have been bed-ridden* since Tuesday afternoon incapacitated by fucking flu, and last night at 00:30 I woke up to an arrhythmia. Beta blockers worked a treat the way they usually do and I've now had enough of being ill.
Got mildly dressed, went downstairs, and am now tapping into that sweet sweet endorphins release.
