I've been making a few bits for my work desk this week. This is the latest one - a mat to sit under my keyboard!
The keyboard clacks too much when it's just on the desk, so I whipped up this granny rectangle to sit under it, and its great!
I'm now working on a desk tidy basket to put all the little bits and bobs that sit on my desk in, so they're all contained.
It's Sunday evening, and another bag is done! The strap is still on another bag at the moment, but I'll change it over when I use this.
I've done one side with colour and the other plain black, so I have a couple of options, and I've used a zip to help with this rather than having a flap like my other one.
Last weekend and this weekend, my crafting work has fallen into a bit of a routine now that I have a few large projects ongoing, which I quite like.
I have a long project I will take to work at the day job and work on before I start and during breaks, then I have another long project at home.which I'll work on in the evenings, and then at the weekend I'll do smaller things with the aim of finishing them before I go to bed on Sunday.

This weekend, I've made these coasters with some of my leftover yarn. These are coming with me to work, as I try to make my desk space a bit more "me". I also have a peace lily, which is currently just one leaf, and I'll see how she fairs, and then I have some lego daffodils, which I will put together on a lunchtime.
I finally finished knitting my kitchen rug! I used 4 strands of worsted from my stash, held as one, on 10.5 circulars, knit flat in garter stitch. Every couple rows I switched a yarn color (always having some type of dark green & yellow present to provide a color anchor), and just knotting with a square knot and knitting up the long ends along with the strands to avoid having to weave in ends. The combo of 4 strands and garter stitch make this so squishy! #FallFinishAlong#Knitting#StashBuster
