Tilburg University now has its own beers (!?). (Made by the local brewery "013") I sampled the #alcoholfree "Decaan" (0.4%) and I'm pleased to report it's an interesting one. There's a scent & taste of guava, and a pleasing complexity to the taste, all of which I'm attributing to the added elderflower. Not bad at all, 7/10 . #beer#tilburg#TilburgUniversity
@jon welcome to my town #Tilburg! It may look grimmy but in fact what you is the old industrial area: the maintenance of trains / locomotives was done here from around 1880. Around 15 years ago they relocated this industry outside the city. Most of the old buildings have been redeveloped and the most impressive result is the "LocHal" https://lochal.nl/
And that was that. What a frickin amazing show. Again.

Smooth ride to Tilburg, about 100min for 130km, relaxing daytime speed limit of 100km/h.
Nice free parking spot in a ten minute walking distance to the 013.
Now at the end of the line, about 150m to go. Gonna take about 2 hours... 🤪

Cannot blame them too much though, when I was younger and drank loads of alcohol I too made noise in the train and I’m quite sure I smelled too.
In fact after so much time traveling I bet I am not a very nice smelling person right now. 🤪
This weekend will be the #Ayreon „Live Beneath The Waves" event in #Tilburg. We still have an international chat group active with people we met at the first Ayreon #live show back in 2017. Most of them are right now traveling to Tilburg again. Some of them got stuck in a #DeutscheBahn train (the train broke down) and all I could do to ease their pain, was to send them a link to the 100 best jokes about Deutsche Bahn — most of the jokes still work when run through an automated translator.
