If you drive a Tesla, you probably shouldn’t drive it in the rain anymore. Tesla is testing the refusal of warranty claims for water damage. Not for driving in standing water. Just in the rain.
The USB-C port on my #Lenovo laptop died a few days before the end of the extended #warranty.
They replaced the motherboard without hesitation. They also put in a new display, they said the old one was flickering too much, without me even mentioning it, probably because I was used to it.
They also replaced the display case, which had a crack in it, which in my opinion is due to the weak construction (I have not dropped it or had any other impact on it).
Regarding my recent #fairphone 3 misadventures: I sent the phone for repairs and in less than a week the service sent it back to me, fixed (with the USB-C module swapped).
They did it for free despite the phone being 2 weeks out of #warranty when it broke.
I really appreciate that and I'm grateful, despite the poor communication regarding the availability of the spare parts.
I just hope that #Fairphone5 will have a headphone jack. I'd like it to be my next.
