I held onto this unique Tiger-Eye cabuchon for years - it HAD to be a "dragon eye", but where to start??

My regular #wirewrapping technique wouldn't cut it.. and thicker wire can't make the little frothy curls I like.

Eventually figured it out. Thick simple wire frame, build detail in layers, and finally beads.

NOT a style I'd ever do again (TIME arrrghh), but I do love how this piece turned out 😸

A favourite wire-wrapped beaded crystal #pendant for #smallbusinesssaturday

Blueberry pendant no 4. Each one in the same central dyed agate stone / bead colours, but they all turned out so very different.

Made from copper wire, woven through with seed beads, Swarovski crystals and tiny copper fern leaf charms. The chain is long but adjustable.

It's #smallbusinesssaturday and I'm so grateful for all the nice comments/shares my #jewelry (and cats!) have received so far on Mastodon!

It's given me motivation to start #wirewrapping again this summer.

While fun to make, they're time-consuming/get no views on Etsy.

But TWO sold this week! Might be coincidence but I'll happily take it.. So thanks everyone for kicking me out of the depression-hole.

I always start with the stone: this #agate made me think of ferns and dense forest undergrowth. So lots of dark greens, hematite chips, and little copper fern charms got woven in. I love making these, even if it takes forever 😬
