Today, Air Canada announced it was cancelling its direct flights between Calgary and Ottawa, Halifax, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Cancún and Frankfurt, as of October 28. The direct AC between Edmonton and Ottawa will also disappear that day. This is disappointing, frustrating news for Albertans. The airline industry is beleaguered by staff & equipment shortages, and AC is still dealing with pandemic impacts.
