Imagine the Keifer Sutherland thriller suspense series ‘24’ but set in the 8thC Tang Dynasty’s capital city of Chang’an - the largest and most multicultural city on earth at the time - and you will get a feel for the premise of this fantastic series.

Winner of over 24 awards, I consider this 2019 historical #cdrama one of the best history series ever made. Ever. Anywhere.

I watched the excellent Chinese-produced Three Body Problem #cdrama this spring and now hear that Netflix will release the Game of Thrones/Brad Pitt produced version in January.

The original famous sci-fi novel series are complex philosophical meditations on time, history and physics.

Glad more of the world will be able to learn about its genius soon… and read the books! #threebodyproblem

Omg - how did I miss Winter Begonia?! #cdrama set in the Republican era about the relationship between a business man and a Peking Opera dan singer as the Japanese occupation begins. But is symbolic of so much more.

Sets, script & music are gorgeous. It is playing on iQiYi Plus and on YouTube. The acting of the MLs is fabulous.
