Here's the thing: the fact that multiple men have committed violence against me is very closely statistically tied to the fact that I regularly encounter human men. It's not because most men are dangerous.

But what's actually going on here is that people are expressing their feelings, not literal and clearheaded answers to the literal question of whether they'd rather encounter a man or a bear.

    I like it when games let you change your character's gender and/or gender presentation at will, but I think it's really funny when it's locked behind an endgame quest. Like "I saved the world so I could fucking transition, ok?"

    Thoughts:

    • Mucus isn't even the reason we need to bathe.
    • Did he think everyone was covered in mucus all the time? Like a snail or a slug??
    • Not producing mucus would be really bad. Like, it serves a lot of important purposes in the body, and you'd probably die pretty fast without it.

    I think there are a lot of compelling arguments for atheism. That said, I keep hearing the argument that "everyone is born an atheist", and that isn't one of them. Like, babies don't know shit. What's your point?

    Gamer bros truly have an incredibly narrow definition of "conventionally attractive" when it comes to women. Like, they keep doing edits of Aloy to make her "conventionally attractive", and ALOY IS ALREADY CONVENTIONALLY ATTRACTIVE. SHE IS MODELED AFTER A MODEL/ACTRESS. SHE JUST ISN'T WEARING MAKEUP.

    Reading about the time they blew up a beached whale carcass in Florence, Oregon with dynamite, sending chunks of rotting whale meat flying, crushing cars and dousing bystanders with rancid whale blood. The most incredible thing about this story, for me, is that the guy in charge of the operation said that it went "just exactly right" and blamed "hostile media" for the ensuing public relations issues.
