Gaza’s civil defence crew is struggling to reach victims trapped under the rubble of bombed buildings, said a spokesperson for the agency, putting the lives of hundreds of injured Palestinians at risk.

Israeli forces “continue to target and destroy the heavy equipment that helps us recover the victims”, said the spokesperson at a press conference outside Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir el-Balah.

Footage show Israeli forces film an empty mosque in Gaza that had already been destroyed, then proceed to completely demolish it by blowing it up.

Mosques, churches, homes, restaurants, colleges and other buildings have been turned to rubble across the Gaza Strip.

25,000 buildings have been destroyed, 32 hospitals forced out of service, and three churches, 341 mosques and 100 universities and schools destroyed, according to the Palestinian agency.

The exodus of Palestinians from Gaza’s last refuge accelerated Sunday as Israeli forces pushed deeper into the southern city of Rafah.

Israel also pounded the territory’s devastated north, where some Hamas militants have regrouped in areas the military said it had cleared months ago.

UN human rights chief Volker Turk said in a statement that he cannot see how a full-scale invasion of Rafah can be reconciled with international humanitarian law.

Gaza civil defense has said its teams are unable to access the Jabalia refugee camp and Gaza City where Israel carried out carpet bombings on Sunday.

“The direct and deliberate Israeli targeting of civil defense crews prevents us from reaching some of the targeted places in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City,” Spokesman Basal told Anadolu.

“The Israeli army is targeting innocent civilians, most of them are women and children,” he added.

Greta Thunberg was arrested Saturday in her home country of Sweden for joining a protest outside the filming of the Eurovision finale, which included an Israeli singer.

“Yesterday we were tens of thousands people flooding the streets of Malmö,” Thunberg wrote of the protests Friday.

Israeli UN envy Gilad Erdan responded furiously, saying that vote to advance the "establishment of Palestinian terror state, which will be led by Hitler of our times, with sick and twisted irony, the very body that established to prevent evil is now welcoming a terror state into its ranks.”

The main United Nations agency that aids Palestinians, known as UNRWA, said on Thursday that it had temporarily closed its headquarters in East Jerusalem for the safety of its staff after parts of the compound were set on fire following weeks of attacks.

“This evening, Israeli residents set fire twice to the perimeter of the UNRWA Headquarters in occupied East Jerusalem,” said the leader of the agency, Philippe Lazzarini, on social media.

CNN spoke to three Israeli whistleblowers who worked at the Sde Teiman desert camp, which holds Palestinians detained during Israel’s invasion of Gaza.

All spoke out at risk of legal repercussions and reprisals from groups supportive of Israel’s hardline policies in Gaza.

“They stripped them down of anything that resembles human beings,” said one whistleblower, who worked as a medic at the facility’s field hospital.

500 Palestinian Bedouins became homeless overnight in Wadi al Khalil in the Negev desert as Israeli forces demolished their homes.

At least 50 homes owned by members of a Bedouin community in the Negev desert were torn down because they were branded as "illegal" by National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir.

Bulldozers razed buildings Wadi al-Khalil, triggering anger and frustration among residents of the village of some 500 people.

In the Occupied East Jerusalem, Israeli forces have stormed the Shuafat refugee camp, surrounding the house of a Palestinian man who was killed by Israeli gunfire in February last year.

Local sources say Israeli forces evacuated the family from the house before demolishing it.

This comes after the tearing down of dozens of Palestinian-Bedouin-owned homes in Negev on Wednesday.

12 GOP senators threatened the International Criminal Court (ICC) with sanctions if the body moves forward with an arrest warrant against Israeli PM Netanyahu or other Israeli leaders.

“Target Israel and we will target you,” the senators, led by Sen. Tom Cotton, wrote in a letter late last month. “You have been warned,” it concludes.

These Rep. senators are now serving the interests of a foreign country. AIPAC paid about $6,836,000 for this service.
