Given the fact that the US has done everything in its power to push Palestinians out of their homes by violence and to kill & maim those who didn't leave, the US should admit all Palestinians in and as refugees. They can all settle in swing states and finally have a say in the US foreign policy that has been affecting their life and death.

@Beachbum Refugees can eventually settle and naturalize. You should know that the US has helped Israel violate international law and the UN resolutions over drcades. I am trying to highlight the US responsibility. The US cannot cause international problems and hope that Egypt, Jordan or someone else would pick up the mess. It was Netanyahu--with the US's approval--that got Qater to fund Hamas. These actions should come with responsibility over their consequences.

This is like an unofficial admission by a cabinet member that Israeli media outlets supress #gaza related news. “According to Israel Hayom, right-wing judicial coup architect Yariv Levin told the hostages' families that he watches the Qatari station, which the government recently shuttered in Israel.”

Israel’s multi-decade dehumanization campaign against Palestinians has produced a thuggish military with no regard to international law. Biden, Sunak and Schultz are actively supporting this mad killing and destruction spree. They are all war criminals. The US has been known for its love of violence and carefree killing of brown and black people, so no surprise there. taking an active role in yet another genocide is truly shocking.

Joe Biden must be surrounded by Zionist advisors who want Trump to be elected so that Israel can take over the whole of Gaza Strip and West Bank. Nothing else explains why Genocide Joe is on a suicidal mission heading to November 2024. These advisors are all OK to leave the administration. Highly remunerated jobs in weapons-related companies must await people like Blinken. The US politics is so corrupt.

@w7voa Anti-war protests in universities involve so many Jewish students and have nothing to do with antisemitism. Biden’s policy will only encourage violent pro-Israel individuals. There have been attacks on antiwar students in Columbia and UCLA, and most recently in ASU. Syracuse University had a similar incident a few days ago.

@richard_merren @w7voa I totally agree that there are many antisemites out there. Look at all those white supremacists. However, I disagree that universities are the bastions of antisemitism as the mainstream media wants to portray. The majority of university students in liberal campuses are against anti-semitism and other forms of racism. Students have risen up against racism before. This means pro-Israel protesters cannot engage in hate speech either, something that Biden ignores.

Ilan Pappe, an Israeli historian, warned as early as in the 1990s that the Israeli educational system was producing a different kind of Zionists. Israeli children are socialized into hating and dehumanizing their Arab & Palestinians neighbors. @johnmastodon @palestine No children should be socialized into dehumanizing anybody anywhere. I read a very difficult and touching testimony of an IDF soldier who came back from his deployment from Gaza (in Haaretz). He saw photos of Gazan kids holding guns in a house he entered, which reminded him of Israeli kids who are also militarized.

@decapitae @palestine I grew up in Japan, another ethno-state. The way kids were socialized into thinking they were superior to other Asians--their colonial legacy--was very troubling. Luckily, Japan's no longer militarized after its defeat in 1945 but the myth of racial superiority stayed on. I oppose any myth of such superiority, which always facilitates the dehumanization of "the other."
