'Head or tails?'

In German:
'Kopf oder Zahl?' (Head or number)

Zahl = Low-German: Tahl.
Zählen (to count) = Low-German: tellen.
Erzählen (to tell, narrate) = Low-German: vertellen.

Tahl - tell - tails ... Not so far away, is it?

It's all related.

Dutch and Low-German are even closer related in some regards. Isn't there even an area where both nations speak the same Frisian?

Starting right after the rain, all the pollen had washed out if the air. Golden-rimmed puddles. A short while in, more rain came down. No photos, but I found myself an aromatic bouquet of wild flowers for dinner.

And then there are some who impress with their love and kindness and who shine brightly.

Has anyone told you today how wonderful you are and how good it is that you are there?
