Heute renne ich aber in Hinsicht IT auch gegen Wände. #Drupal war mal eine so großartig benutzerfreundliche CMS Software. Dann kam 8 mit dem #composer command line tool und man brauchte plötzlich entweder die volle Kontroller über den Server (statt FTP und DB Zugang) oder... die Tutorials für dieses BASIS, absolut typisches Hosting Format ist völlig vergraben unter tausenden Tuts, die nur lokale Installationen beschreiben. grmpfl

Am I reading this right? are we recommending Wordpress now?

The whole page on https://www.drupal.org/about/drupal-7/d7eol/partners feels like a slap in the face for small to medium #Drupal integrators.

So if you have small to medium projects, the recommendation is move to Wordpress (or Wix!), and if you have a large project, here are a list of certified? companies.

I really worry as a Drupal small agency owner that the marketing that the DA/working groups is putting out is really damaging.

From the Driesnote Q&A at #drupalcon:

"I would say #BackdropCMS has been a net-positive for the #Drupal project… Hopefully [organizations with Drupal 7 sites] will choose to upgrade to Drupal 10 or Drupal 11… but I also recognize that there are a lot of organizations that may not have the means to do that, and for them, Backdrop might be a great solution… I think we can promote that as one of the options for people that are stuck with Drupal 7…"
