The very idea that someone could "turn" a straight kid LGBTQ+ or a Cis kid trans, just continues to prove that they don't actually believe or care about any facts, doctors, or science, and their opinions should be blatantly ignored.

I get so cracked up every time I see this story. Imagine being so fed up that getting shipwrecked for a month was a nice break. I don't think most of us have to Imagine that hard.

    I'm gonna say something that is probably gonna be unpopular, but I seriously wonder if there is any pure form of government that would work long term. History seems to point to no, and not even because they are bad ideas necessarily, but because we can't seem to ever get rid of greedy psychopaths that have the audacity, and short sighted people who just can't believe they have the audacity, and wait until it's too late to actually do anything about it. I hope I'm wrong.

    What was the first movie/TV show that legitimately scared you?

    What scared you about it?

    How do you do feel about it now?

    My experience:

    When I was 7, after my parents put me to bed, my parents put on the movie Alien. I snuck out of bed and hid behind the couch, and watched the whole thing, and they never realized I was there. I was completely terrified, but I knew if I told my parents why I would get in big trouble, so after I was sure they fell asleep I took my pillow and blanket and snuck into their room, and slept on the floor, then got up really early before they woke up, and got back into my own bed. I was scared of Aliens for years and most of my childhood nightmares revolved around them. Now I think Alien is a pretty great movie, and Ripley is bad ass, but honestly I'm still terrified of being a lone survivor.
