pile-dive

verb NORTH AMERICAN
gerund or present participle: pile-diving

search through the pile of boxes left by the movers (typically, in the garage) for the item you need.

Usage: "Honey, did they bring the lamp bases in with the lamp shades? No? Guess I'll need to pile-dive. Wish me luck!"

P.S. I was going to call it box-diving, but I knew where y'all minds would go!

Four years ago...
Trump consistently undercut efforts by agencies to slow the spread of Covid-19 while we waited for vaccines.
