I have just emerged from under a rock, to see that dozens of new account applications entered the moderators' inboxes.
I know that a popular F# developer announced his exodus to , but did an egregious policy change at the sole proprietorship prompt this surge?

cosullivan,
@cosullivan@mastodon.sdf.org avatar

@ParadeGrotesque aside from the popular developer's move to Mastodon, I have seen on the r/Twitter subreddit that new accounts require a small fee, to keep out new bots. At least one Twitter user reports their feeds have become greatly limited or nonexistent.

Advantages of blocking over reporting, when no instance server rules are violated:

  1. One doesn't see the blocked account's output again. One step toward peace of mind.

  2. The moderation team aren't reminded how often the reporting account has been reported AGAINST for the same flavour of transgression.

In matters of opinion differences, reporting a post that is entirely within the ethos of the account instance has no benefit.

I have watched this video (, "(I'm Not Your )Steppin' Stone)" ten times over the course of my life, and only tonight do I notice the repeatedly switch from wearing black turtlenecks under their famous red double-button shirts to just wearing the shirts.

Imagine posting actively on your instance for six years and making posts that egregiously contradict your instance's server rules.

Ahem. This needs to be said.

If "Stupid Fucker" is the extent of the vocabulary, and the reply, you bring to a debate, feel free NOT to send me your opinion.

Screenshots have been taken to mock the guilty.

@ParadeGrotesque Ironically, the troll you allude to has the awareness to block from its self-admin instance two toxic instances that I am hoping the admins of our instance will block. I made the request in email; an account from one such instance replied to you publicly, this tells me my request hasn't been acted upon.
I don't know if my fediblock request has been read. Maybe I'll learn by email because I won't learn here.

I searched online for " Bruno Gerussi" and " Celebrity Cooks", a daytime cooking show he hosted when not filming "The Beachcombers" . I found compilations including clips from a Bob Crane episode, taped days before Bob Crane's murder in June 1978, and this blog post:

for any fellow low-tech cooks who have recipes in files, a grep command that searches for keywords, such as ingredients:

Just today I learned who is currently my province's Premier. Five months after one retired from politics. That's how little attention I pay to politics and news now, and how great my Mastodon timeline is at sheltering me. I should ask the local paper for a RSS feed. Who has links to tutorials for setting these up?
I used to be more attentive, but that was another nation ago that left me with residual outrage burnout.

@neilhimself Hello from Vancouver BC, Canada. You autographed a 1st edition of Good Omens for my husband at a signing decades ago.
I am about to commit my husband to a columbarium cell (yes he is dead, we call him Urny now); authentication of your autograph ( DM me) would be worth a few installment payments. Would you kindly supply authentication?
Thanks

Update to my search for used computers local to me. I scouted a outlet nearest to me yesterday, jotted potential replacements for his Dell Latitude E6410, let my son sleep on his germinating specifications, and he bought his laptop this morning.
I did not involve myself in the purchase beyond chauffeuring him and providing a sturdy carrying bag for his adapter and laptop. (He bought a Thinkpad T540p)
