Local transit FAST got rid of some bus routes and replaced with on demand microtransit ridesharing service using app called Ride Pingo to book a ride. Seems like plan is to expand. Right now it only replaces areas where the routes have been cancelled. I don’t know if this is related to the instance @ai6yr or a wider issue because both are from same instance, but 2 people I happened to notice missing from my list feeds today were @BakerRL75 and @MiBaWi. For some reason I was no longer following them. I keep following them and trying to add back to lists, only to notice it says I am not following again. Hope this sorts itself out.

Going to try something different today and roast veggies in oven instead of stir frying for veggie lo mein. I see a lot of sheet pan chow mein recipes but I don’t want crispy noodles. I’ll just combine the sauce, lo mein, & roasted veggies in a pot after veggies are done roasting.

I am happy to see lists are a feature here. One thing I really liked about the #birdsite was that you could make both public and private lists and add accounts you didn’t want to follow. I loved this for a number of reasons. It didn’t clutter my home feed. It didn’t attract crazies. Etc.

Quite happy with the weather whiplash today from yesterday’s high of 80 to a breezy cloudy 60 today. Took advantage & opened windows to cool the house so I could tackle some spring cleaning. Hope to continue over next few days. It’s about 11 weeks since my 1st case of “mild” 🤨covid and the post-covid bronchitis is slowly subsiding but still wakes me up. Today was the first day I was able to do groceries & cooking & cleaning without being majorly exhausted after each of those things.

I received a notification about software update iOS17.0.3. When I went to look at it in settings I also saw a new “Verify Your Recovery Key” message directly above the “ Software Update Available” message. I am wondering if anyone else got this recently and why. I thought I was screwed since my recovery key was printed out before the house fire but they easily let me generate a new one to enter. So that is a relief at least. #Apple #iPhone

PSA Novavax is not stored frozen.

Visited local CVS inside a Target to ask how to schedule an appointment for Novavax. I was able to get a walk-in vaccination, their very first Novavax administered. At first I became alarmed when she said it had to thaw. I worried and asked if it was being stored frozen. She then recalled it was not frozen and showed the refrigerator with clear door where it was stored.
2X Pfizer 3X Moderna 1X Novavax.

I was happy to see Christmas sprinkles at Trader Joe’s this year, they are back for Valentine’s. But sadly, they remained crunchy even on freshly flooded (covered entirely with icing) cookies.. I have tried Supernatural brand sprinkles in the past and they were also crunchy. But this year they introduced rainbow“softies”. I scored a deal after Xmas on them and they were a hit for my nephew’s bday. #traderjoes #baking

Post-covid bronchitis is real and not fun. I cannot imagine how I would have fared without all the vaccines. After my initial recovery from covid I made a real effort to resume life slowly, not wanting to stress my body out. I remember reading that people would feel fine but then start deteriorating at the month mark. If I tried to have a normal day, it would take a day to recover. I hope I am on the last couple days b/c I don’t wanna disappoint the monkeys for Easter.
