Don't get me wrong, I love the firefox life since vowing to never install chrome on my new laptop.

but damn do i miss tab grouping. I hatteeee the tab experience in firefox 😭 and addons make it worse.

i use the sidebar tree addon and i seriously have like 100 tabs open, all in random groups i did not choose. sooo overwhelmed by this. i get lost in the tab list constantly.

Fun fact about me:

I wear a ring that won't come off!

I took it from my mom's collection (she didn't care) when I was a teen and have worn it since. To me, it represents her even though she doesn't know that.

I was depressed as a teen and was underweight. I didn't realize I was depressed, nor did I realize I had a lack of interest in food.

It was probably the worst time period of my life to put on a ring and never take it off lol. Hmm I wonder if I should be concerned about this or...??

All three of my cats have had a turn laying on my chest this morning in bed. I don't usually lay here in the morning so I wonder if they were all thrilled at the new morning snuggle opportunity. Even my least cuddly one sweetly and very calmly laid on me and wanted me to kiss his little head a lot 😍 I love them.

I've been nervously wanting to switch to a new email address. My lifelong inbox is a junkyard, the unread count meaningless. But it's connected to so many life things!

I decided to start small. Made a new email & I'm moving over important stuff little by little. Plus, swore off subscribing to more than like... 5 newsletters.

BUT THEN! caught myself wanting to sign up for more newsletters that interest me! Do I trust this feeling? Does this lead to destruction? 😰 I dunno!

@MsHearthWitch Yes omg! books where they just move to a new state or something, don't tell anyone their new address, get a whole new phone number (only in their house, easy to dodge calls!). How the heck were people found back then? You could even have family just leave and you'd never find them.

What are some cool things your library offers?

I would love to know about libraries across the globe!

Mine is very cool and most importantly, they do not charge late fees!

Second coolest is probably the creative lab with a 3D printer, cricut, large format printer, and computers with all sorts of software like photoshop, illustrator, etc.

Tonight's dessert is a Meyer lemon Japanese chiffon cake!

SO tasty. Although I think the Earl Grey and the chocolate have been my favorites so far.

Next week I think I'm gonna try an orange cake with cardamom.

@MsHearthWitch i love all those kinds of flavors in food!! I always wished it was more normal over here in western culture. I just found and subscribed to a gluten-free pastry chef's newsletter, so I'm hoping exposure to the possibilities will make it so that one day in the distant future I will feel like baking, and I can try something like that. Something that really appeals to me.

Depressed today and it's not even noon. Birds are singing and the sun is shinning and I feel like a puddle someone has stepped in.

Looking at anything about my ex's new life feels so painful and I've identified why:

Because he lied to me for years about being happy with me. Why couldn't he just have told me he didn't want to wear the clothes I suggested (for example), instead of pretending everything was great and allowing this horrible resentment towards me to build in himself?

This was already a core fear I had about most humans!

That they are lying about liking me, and secretly actually are disgusted by me or whatever other negative words you could swap in for "disgusted".

I just feel so alone and distrustful about every single person now. I have no idea which way is up or down when it comes to judging if someone actually likes me. What actions and words constitute truth in this regard? How will I ever know what truth even is?

You can turn the sound off!!! There are hidden commands for lots of major microwave brands!! For mine it was holding down the 0 button. Just do a search and see what comes up online.

It's been a sanity saver for me.

I have a lifetime of habit I have to break and still stop it at one second left maybe half the time 😂

On top of the other stuff, my pup is now with my ex for 10 days, and I'm sad. I never wanted a life where I would have to give up my animals.

@MsHearthWitch well the reason i am basically making him take the dog is because he doesn't get to like shirk every commitment he ever made. I cannot care for the dog properly on my own, being disabled. But he absolutely can. He is very abled, physically, mentally, and very much financially. Whereas I did not agree to have a dog and 3 cats as a single disabled person, i thought i would have a partner to help me.
