Everyone wants to remake the good stuff... what about remakes of the truly awful shows with fantastic potential in their ideas?

@SFRuminations Well, some of these could easily be considered science-fiction, but I don't think there's a serious intention of doing a "realistic" tv series or film like, for example, Threads.

Scifi writers should know that an army marches on their stomach. Also amateurs talk about tactics while experts talk about logistics.

You gotta feed your armies and starfleets fuel, ammo, rations for the military humans or everything comes to a screeching halt.

But I had no idea the number of different types of naval logistic ships.

Another pretty idea to borrow. The question here is how the USB stick gets compromised when an unauthorised person breaks the seal.

Some ideas:

  • A computer virus erasing its contents.
  • A small demolition charge blowing it up.
  • Etc.

An old classic "what if" question is What scifi novel or movie would you like to live in?

Adult me is skeptical of most of them, they all have drawbacks.

Extremely important. I self-publish and I need to get the word out - and so far, I have refused to pay for ads.

I talk about my work a lot here on , and I also maintain a Facebook page with thrice-daily posts. I don't have any good stats on how my readers found me, but I feel that I am reaching more people here on Mastodon.

Una idea así loca sin pensarlo mucho (y no es broma).
Si se pone de moda crear influencers por IA para que Los Mimos de Siempre™️ se lleven los dineros, a lo mejor se pone de moda también aparecer en redes más natural, con imperfecciones. No sé, parecer humano.
