Do you like diner coffee? I had work laptop issues and couldn't even log in to enable them to work remotely on it. Had to drive it to the IT place. While I waited I hit a diner.

How can a place make such killer pancakes, yet such bad coffee?

  • Most acid reflux flare-ups triggered
  • Deepest shade of gray when milk is added
  • Highest count of loose coffee grounds
  • Most authentic aroma of a Bogota brushfire
  • Oldest brew (I swear some of the diner coffee I’ve been served tasted like it was brewed during the Carter administration & kept on the warmer for 46 yrs)

But here be some spoilers - kinda?
Florence Pugh and Cillian Murphy have two sex scenes. Why is it that we have to see Pugh’s boobs? I’m not shaming her, not saying “ooh, women should cover up!” but like what was the purpose of her nudity? I also get that boobs are not sexual. However, that’s not what a majority of society sees - she’s objectified. Knowing this, my question is why did they do it?

    Wow, that episode was difficult. So many themes, including the breakdown of norms and the influence of media, and billionaires, in the political process.

    The hardest part for me was Siobhan's poor performance. She had aligned her personal advantage with the Jimenez campaign, and once that was revealed, she lost her voice. Her threats to Greg, and unwillingness to propose a deal to Nate, led to failure.

    @evan Correct on the profile. Gerri’s sterling reputation for keeping the company out of legal and regulatory ruin now hangs on how well she can wrangle Logan’s train-wreck heirs into compliance. Cashing out could be the best option of all.
