Finished re-watching and still got goosebumps. I still strongly dislike the whole Danny plot (especially in season three) and wished they did something else instead. But I'm looking forward to season four in autumn.

Of course it has to happen like this first, but I really like those kind of dreams. In the past, the IEA repeatedly had to correct their own forecasts for solar (PV) because the actual growth was a lot faster.

The IEA solar forecast from 2021 compared to all the previous forecasts. All forecasts in the past have been way too pessimistic.

@bastianallgeier First graph shows an estimation of ~5 Terawatt in 2030, the second (WEO, bold black) ~140 Gigawatt (= 0.14 TW). Something seems off or I miss something fundamentally interpreting these graphs. 🤔

Re-watching "For all Mankind". Just a couple of episodes in, but damn! This is hands down THE best spaceflight/sci-fi show I've ever seen. Great story and deep, relatable characters, well thought out plot, still full of surprises. 🚀

Worked on my website today (nothing online yet), had some "Oh cool, browsers/CSS can do this now" moments. 😀

I really like how you need less code nowadays for layouts and just let the browser do its thing.

Frage in die Runde: Wenn ich gerne für mich ein T-Shirt drucken wollen würde (keinen Shop einrichten), bei einem deutschen/europäischen Anbieter (wg. Versandkosten, Öko-Standards), in vernünftigem Qualitäts-/Preisrahmen und der in seinem Shop keine Plattform für Nazis, etc. anbietet … wo würde man sich denn da hinwenden wollen? 🤔

@MoritzGiessmann @matthiasott Nutze schon 11ty, viel minimalistischer wird es wohl kaum. Aber auch da bastel ich eher an der Technik rum, als an Inhalten. Ich weiß halt auch eigentlich nicht so, was ich schreiben soll. Ich bin halt nie so der Blogger gewesen, auch dieses "schreibs für dich selbst" zieht bei mir nicht so gut. 🤷‍♂️

@MoritzGiessmann @matthiasott Ich überlege z.B. auch, einfach alles auf Deutsch umzubauen. Okay, deutlich geringere Reichweite (uh – business-speak!), aber wenn ich auf Englisch schreibe, klingt das oft viel zu generisch und nicht so richtig nach mir. (Okay, da könnte später vielleicht auch wieder DeepL & Co helfen.)

@sarajw I haven't been working in frontend development for a couple of years, so I'm a bit rusty. But I'm also curious about all the new stuff. I'm more hesitant about the content. As a freelancer, there is always this certain "pressure" for self-marketing (which I absolutely loath doing) and I'm not really into blogging. Now I'm thinking on how to make the site more personal. Also it's not easy to find my own "voice" using a foreign language. I might change that as well.

Has anyone come across an example of an ‘All Gender Toilets' symbol done well? The choices seem to be either show 'everyone’ (Stick figure, stick figure in a dress, stick figure in wheelchair) or an oddly ‘half-skirted' person.

Was nutzt man eigentlich, wenn man als Privatmensch Dokumente elektronisch für Firmen/Behörden signieren will, als Ersatz für handschriftliche Unterschriften? Ich hatte ja immer gehofft, dass man das einfach mit dem ePerso machen könnte (wäre ja eine total sinnvolle Funktion).

Macht das überhaupt Sinn, oder ist das in Deutschland wieder zu sehr Neuland und man braucht doch wieder berittene Boten? (Rechtliche Grundlage dafür existiert ja AFAIK schon ein paar Jahre.)

@cjk Für 9€/Monat für max. 5 zu signierende Dokumente ist das leider noch ein wenig unhandlich. Ich würde es momentan ohnehin nur gelegentlich nutzen.

Und für Kundennrechnungen, Verträge, o.ä. hat in 11 Jahren Selbstständigkeit auch noch nie jemand nachgefragt.
