Todd Martens of the LA Times talks to Imagineer Lanny Smoot about the recently unveiled “HoloTile Floor” project — an omnidirectional floor that allows multiple users to walk infinitely — and its relationship to Star Trek. In particular, Smoot calls out being inspired by the character of officer Uhura as a kid and wanting to make a real-life “Holodeck.”

@BaldSavant My husband and I were debating the First Episode You Should Watch, the Best Episode, and our Favorite Episode.

I think the first one you should watch should be "Yes Or No" but the best one is probably "Do I Hear $1" or "Sam Says" and my favorite is "Don't Cry."

"2120" is a graphic novel set up like a book / / old school PC .

In the same vein as Severance, Stanley Parable, or House of Leaves, nothing is as it first seems. "2120" is filled with suspense, horror, and corporate dread, which works well with Wylesol’s instruction manual-esque drawing style.

Musk is cratering twitter so fast and deliberately now I’m wondering if it’s all some sort of secret tax dodge. Like maybe his accountant said if he very publicly destroyed ~$10B of his own money while raising the rest, he could avoid taxes on his remaining $100B stash forever.
