In my last kitchen, the restaurant company fired our entire bakery team, got rid of the bread program, and started outsourcing bread and viennoiserie from mid kitchens, all the while still calling the café a “boulangerie”—

So it’s really refreshing to, once again, see in-house GORGEOUS viennoiserie being made 😌

I know we’re over #Caturday (I mean, #Caturday is every day, c’mon now…), but I just need to hop on here and tell the saddest, cutest story: my kittn was on her side, writhing and crying by our stove and Fiancé couldn’t figure out why until he crouched down and looked underneath—

Leeloo batted every single one of her toys underneath there, totally out of access 😭

So he took our drain snake and fished them all out. He is Papa Hero in Leeloo’s eyes.

This photo is old! But I’m making the same thing for work. Below are #chocolate sleigh bells I used to make for my former chocolate confections business (which has folded, RIP).

I’m the -resident chocolatier~ on my #pastry team so when my coworkers need chocolate work done, they ask me to teach them how to achieve a certain effect or just plain make me do something for them.

My coworker’s putting out an #XMas dessert feature and she thought sleigh bells would be a nice touch.

Ziggy (left) is obsessed with cleanliness. I can’t tell if she understands how gorgeous she is and that’s why she cleans herself 10,000x a day or she’s gorgeous -because- she cleans herself 10,000x.

Our little Leeloo (right)… is not so clean 😵‍💫 Ziggy wants to make this right. And maybe also assert dominance.

This is Ribersborgs Kallbadhus, Malmö’s open-air public bathhouse. It’s a nude bathhouse with mixed gender rooms.

This would not work in North America I don’t think. We don’t know how to separate sexuality from nudity or extricate shame from nudity. We can’t look at nudity as completely neutral.

I feel some tension being here in #Malmö. The ruling political party is right-wing, conservative nationalist and I -feel- that, being Canto/POC.

It’s alright here, but I wouldn’t recommend coming to this part if you’re anything but Swede (I think Danes even have a hard time here 😵‍💫).

For the past week, after my shift, I’ve been going and dropping off leftover sandwiches from work at the base of a tent that’s recently been pitched in a park near our house. I don’t say anything, I don’t announce myself, I just drop off the food at this tent and then leave…

So I never saw the inhabitant of this tent…

…until last night.

And fuck…

They are 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙜.

Just way too young to be living this way.
