In my #efforts to be a #Super-Nerd, I am trying to use #RSS. It seems a good way of #receiving #news and #following #ideas relevant to me rather than #programmed, #syndicated or biased social media?

As usual, I #know nothing about it, just familiar with its symbol ...
So far I have #downloaded an RSS program, #Firefox #extension and tried to make sense of them or at least use in some #relevant way ...

Dear Friends of the hopeful

I tried using 3.10 on my raspberry Pi 3 as advised by Pi. It has primitive . Too primitive and instance did not load. Lynx was also suggested but that has no javascript so did not bother with it. runs from the command line as does Netsurf.

So I am back to using Firefox. Slow but works for Mastodon.

My next plans:

  • Get a or simpler server client installed
  • Upgrade to a Rpi V
  • I am searching for a weird micro or mini to full HDMI cable that I have somewhere. For use with my RPi 4 as a temp attempt

    Just back from an evening stroll through the backstreets of Autumnal Tooting. Just noticed a new tree planting area in our road. One tree also coming down 😭

    People playing tennis in the Furzedown area, lights on in the bowling club house. They may be turning the bowling green into a wild flower meadow. Yeah! :success:

    Some trees have turned red. The moon was filling up. All is well ... :paganverify:
