in other words, I'm taking for an machine that is less than US$5k and has software that wasn't designed by someone with zero ability to user-test it before they put it into production. Mom is tech savvy, but this software is just trash.

just to say, guys, Calibre's pretty great. not the most intuitive interface, and sometimes you gotta go looking for some info that should be more obvious, but like, wow, the functionality is really there, you know. (^_^)

I've put a couple of I don't use up on eBay if anybody's interested. they're both Monteverde pens, a Monza ID (demonstrator with a flex nib), and a Ritma (chunky red boy with a black nib). (^_^)

@RickiTarr there was a YouTube video (affectionately) making fun of ace stereotypes, and I was like, "ah." (⁠;⁠;⁠;⁠・⁠_⁠・⁠)

honestly, I wish I had known about the various ways to be ace. I'd never really considered myself to be ace until that video, coz I tend to like sex, just, like, as a physical act, like, the way some people enjoy sports, or shopping or something. but I've never found myself wanting to do it with another person, so I guess it turns out I do fit somewhere under that ace umbrella after all??? (^_^)
