It's cool that at the Mastodon website you can go through toots using j and k, but I wish that the currently selected toot was at the top, right now it's at the bottom of the page, and usually only partially visible

This is super funny, Cybertrucks start rusting even in California weather, and the manual says that you should not wash it with hot water or in direct sunlight.

Today I tried adding reactions to a blog in the simplest possible way (simplest for me, a backend developer). And so in an hour I created a POC, and it seems to work. There is no JS whatsoever, just and Django.

Now I just need to work on deployment, embedding, and abuse protection, but hey, the POC works 😅

@stfn I liked Gnome 2, and I didn't like Gnome 3. I mean that Meta key press that shows all applications is addictive, yeah, but I like how XFCE is customized in Manjaro. It's clean. Maybe KDE has been improved since I last tried it. Send screenshots 👀

Continuing my journey. I think yesterday I finally had an eureka moment about understanding gradient descend and how it is actually working in the theme of machine learning. I feel like I am starting to grasp it, like properly, and not only rewriting code from the course.

@stfn You may look at other optimization algorithms. I wanted to mention the simplex method and started searching for popular examples. I had the backpack problem and traveling salesman problem in my mind, but they are not linear or in continuous space. Though I found this (see screenshot). Try to find a minimum 😜
