And so #Anchorage food weekend begins: Ordered a garlic chicken pizza from The Peanut Farm. Food options are limited this time of night, but the fine Peanut Farmers send food out the door until 10:30pm.

It’s a very fine late night greasy pizza, and bigger than expected. I know what I’m having for breakfast all weekend.

I added obligatory red pepper flakes & some truffle-parm shaker seasoning (didn’t see any plain parm in the pantry), and now I’m ready to fall asleep on the couch. #AlaskaLife

So I signed up for the waiting list on a promising sounding unified messaging app a while ago. (Trying to figure out how to get all possible incoming messages for my business without having to check a half dozen different apps to do it.)

I got an email yesterday letting me know it was my turn to sign up! Super exciting! I went to sign up a bunch of messaging accounts, and read the welcome message in the account…

…only to discover that Automattic bought them. sigh

Today, made my traditional St Paddy’s dinner (not to be confused with a traditional Irish meal for the same occasion. I don’t even know if there is one, tbh.)… brown bread, colcannon, home-cured corned beef, Alaskan Smoked Porter (not pictured).

Roughly 2000 people a week are still dying of #Covid19 in the US.

And as far as I know, there is no specific count being tracked of people dying of post-Covid cardiac events & strokes, so the actual total of Covid-related deaths is likely much higher.

Got my eleventy-sixth COVID booster today… (OK, really, I think it’s #8) Was really hoping to get #Novavax but the pharmacy was out, so another round of Moderna #Spikevax it is.

I’ll check again if anyone in town has Novavax in June, but what I’m not doing again is putting off a booster until a specific one is available. Last time I did that, waiting for the XBB booster release, I got covid instead. Sticking to whatever is available every four months from here on out.
