Hey @ivory , is the show in main timeline option ( in the add to lists panel ) an Ivory thing or a Mastodon thing?
If it is an ivory thing, is there a way to set that from an external tool? or somehow? ( from macOS )

    Thing I love about mercurial:

    I can type

    hg glog -r '(::v21.0-andi-hacks)-::.'

    And that looks like line noise, but what it is actually saying is "Show me an ASCII art tree of all commits that are in the "v21.0-andi-hacks" branch, but are NOT ancestors of the current commit".

    This, and the entire commit algebra it's just one specific application of, are so useful! It's like diffs for commit histories.

    just what is the industry standard for dockerizing programs that have to be run in MS-DOS?

    QEMU is the most "standard" virtual machine, but it'd have a pretty difficult interfacing step, since you have to manipulate FAT filesystems to get data in and you can't easily just get output back out, unless you redirect to files & read FAT again, or do screen-scraping
