@bbedit is software I touch daily. Mostly for keeping my lab notebook and writing Perl. Its full of powerful features I’ll never use (but maybe you will).

@TheGibson Many years ago on a scientific computing system running Sun grid engine I used up all the inodes and ground everything to a halt. My memory of the exact failure is hazy but it involved launching lots of jobs that communicated via lots of small files. It was a stupid setup and I ended up with the file system equivalent of Trouble with Tribbles.
