Next launch window is tomorrow at 10:11 pm ET, but again it's not clear whether we'll be able to recycle and try again that soon. We'll see if I'm back here tomorrow night live posting!!

@Wijfi 💯

Okay, the issue IS apparently related to the noises I mentioned earlier on: a noise described as "chattering" on the Atlas V's upper stage coming from an oxygen relief valve.

@skrishna@wandering.shop avatar

@KevinFreitas Of course!!

@baltakatei Pretty much everything on the feed at this point is about crew egress, hoping we’ll have more info in the morning

@skrishna@wandering.shop avatar

Looks like we had a scrub -- the launch vehicle is not in a configuration in which flight can proceed today. More info as I get it.

@skrishna@wandering.shop avatar

It's not clear why we scrubbed — priority right now is getting the crew out of the capsule. But it sounds like an issue with the ULA Atlas V rocket, not the capsule.

We're just about two hours from launch, hatch closure is expected in about an hour though they're running ahead of schedule

Suni's gross leak checks on her suit are complete, and it looks like they were troubleshooting some comm issues between Suni and Houston but they've been resolved

@skrishna@wandering.shop avatar

Currently starting suit leak checks on Suni

@skrishna@wandering.shop avatar

So far everything is going very smoothly. Which I am honestly not surprised by. This is a known launch vehicle (as opposed to SLS for the Artemis I launch) and they have tested and retested every inch of this spacecraft.

Butch Wilmore is in the capsule. There have been a few comments on the live feed about a strange sound, but it appears to be diminishing.

Butch and Suni are now getting into the Astrovan to head to the launch pad.

Over the feed, Blue Team (who will help the astronauts into the capsule) confirmed the hatch is open.

Rocket looks good!!

skrishna,
@skrishna@wandering.shop avatar

@pewnack I think they look pretty relaxed actually

skrishna,
@skrishna@wandering.shop avatar

@pewnack It's very easy to take a screenshot and say someone looks stressed out. I've watched them at press conferences and events all week. I believe they are comfortable with the spacecraft.

skrishna,
@skrishna@wandering.shop avatar

@Jon_Kramer It's definitely not a huge launch vehicle!

@skrishna@wandering.shop avatar

We are go to proceed with hatch operations and crew entry -- Which means they're going to get in the spacecraft soon

All three cryo tanks on the Atlas V have been topped off to flight level. Astrovan trip to the launch pad around 7:15 pm ET. No issues being reported.

@krst 10:34 PM ET today!

skrishna,
@skrishna@wandering.shop avatar

@krst I would not be surprised if it didn’t launch today, but I do think it will launch this week. I think the spacecraft is (finally ) ready
