I've planned this week's post outline properly now, so getting a bit of brain downtime and need to transition between games/mindsets.

So, I'm just exploring the latest supporter pack in .

It includes a Tom Bombadil-style skipping movement, but in walking mode, it allows you to use either the built-in staff or, if you're a Lore-master, your actual staff.

It took a bit of tinkering (massive understatement) and it's still not perfectly OK (but that's due to the Nintendo API) but I've finally managed to integrate a Parental Control for the familial Switch that suits my needs with @homeassistant (and a HACS)

@massivelyop What was also improved from Moria to Gundabad to Under-Umbar was the number of entries/exits. In Moria, you had only two of them (I don't count the small ledge with the Balrog's corpse). Gundabad gave us a couple more, and what I like in Under-Umbar is that every hub has a door to the surface, so you don't have to cross a whole region (or teleport) to find back the open air when you're fed up from running in caves...

@glitchontwitch @massivelyop Old Moria darkness... shivers (TBH I have more PTSD from namelesses jumping from nowhere in the Foundations of Stone than falling off to my death, as blindly jumping from everywhere is a style of life from me - jumping through the well was actually the first thing I did when I arrived in the chamber of crossroads - I'm not even sure I took the stable and milestone before)

Idée de récit qui me trotte en tête : un homme découvre que non seulement cela fait 20 ans que des hommes d'une dimension parallèle l'observe dans la vie de tout les jours ...mais qu'on plus toutes les chansons débile qu'il chantonne dans la vie de tout les jours sont devenus des MEGA HIT et qu'il est a l'origine de tubes comme :

  1. That spider is a skin-changing humanoid, you're quite right. 🕷️ :blobcatshocked:

  2. I am, in fact, fighting with a pitch-fork. I wanted a different cosmetic, but many of the quirky ones are for staves or axes, and so far this is one of the few I've found that work with 2-handed swords.

@FibroJedi iirc they did implement the tech for the beornings (a beorning that couldn't shapeshift would have made no sense) and they managed to extend it to the mobs, but that must involve triggers that didn't exist back in Gauradan era
(And tbh, revamping minor ennemies from long gone zones seems a bit a waste for ressources to me)

@FibroJedi that's why they did all the lower level zones lately. Provided a little bit of hopping, you can almost do 1-50 only with "new" zones (Cardolan-Yondershire-Mithetel-Wildwood)

Toute ma vie la société ma forcée au masking et à être une loseuse fauchée avec des valeurs de gauche.
Alors que ma vraie identité est d'être une bourgeoise rentière avec suffisamment peu d'arrière-pensées pour posséder une piscine dans un pays où il flotte une seule fois par an.
Aidez moi à transitionner en contribuant à ma cagnotte leetchi pour racheter cette piscine sans vis à vis et le jardin qui va avec (y a une maison aussi, c'est pratique pour laver ses culottes et garder les bières au frais) à ma famille pour que je puisse enfin devenir celle que je suis vraiment. 🥰
