Seeing this, it just struck me that SAFe is probably the last method you’d want to use for building safety critical software.

@lePetomaneAncien I work in a company that uses both waterfall (for safety critical stuff - actually a V model) and SAFe for the usual cloud platform things.

Each method works well within its own domain. The difference in mindset between people on both sides is always fascinating to observe, though.

Did you know that on an , you can take a photo of a business card, and your phone will create a new Contacts entry for you?

No?

That’s because it doesn’t do that. My phone recognizes the text on the card just fine. It even knows what the name, phone number etc. are.

But it won’t let me put them in my address book 🤦‍♂️

Took the tracteur into town to buy petrol so I can get the garden under control, or at least keep the paths clear after my encounter with the snake this morning.

Nice drive along the back roads. Fields are looking good. It's Limousin country here, and the cattle are looking healthy.

Apparently I've not been to town since the beginning of October (over 7 months ago), which was when I last went to buy fuel.

Scintillating conversation with the garagiste as usual. Three whole words and a grunt.

Just remembered a really vivid and long dream I had last night, about testing out and buying a really cool black electric bass guitar.

Like, I could specifically feel the weight of it on my lap and in my arms, and the feeling of the strings, and the vibration it made when I played it. I knew how different bass notes were created on the strings, and even briefly played along to the bass line of a song on the speakers.

And had an extensive conversation about customizing that particular instrument with Gene Simmons, the clerk of the music store.

I don't understand how I have such sensory dreams, when I've never held any type of electric bass in my life, and can't play guitar at all.

It's like I sometimes have other people's dreams. Anyone else do this?

Wir haben dank gestern im nun eine ähnliche Situation wie in Österreich anno 2014 mit Conchita Wurst.

Die Schweiz kann sich der Welt nun als superoffenes, wahnsinnig liberales Land präsentieren, stattdessen ist die SVP nach wie vor die wählerstärkste Partei (somit ähnliche Situation wie im verschnarcht-konservativen Nachbarland im Osten) und ein amtlicher Eintrag eines Eintrags für non-binäre u.ä. ist hier, im Gegensatz zu Österreich, nach wie vor NICHT möglich.

Denkt immer daran!

In Deutschland und Österreich gibt es seit ca. 2018 den Geschlechtseintrag "divers". https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divers

Meines Wissens haben beide Länder dadurch keinen erkennbaren Schaden genommen, und existieren weiterhin.

(Ich sag nicht, dass die Regelung perfekt ist. Aber besser als nix.)
