From an analysis of 3.4m PIN code leaked from several data breaches https://informationisbeautiful.net/visualizations/most-common-pin-codes/

A diagonal line of ‘heat’ from bottom left to top right reveals people choosing double digits (2323, 6868 etc). A strong horizontal line at the 19 point shows people using their birth year as a PIN code (1971, 1998 etc). And a large amount of heat in the bottom left shows how people commonly use their birthdate in a MM/DD or DD/MM format. The most common code in the set is 1234.
The Top 20 most common 4 digit PIN numbers, as revealed by an analysis of data breaches, constitute 27% of all PIN numbers. They are 1234, 1111, 0000, 1212, 7777, 1004, 2000, 4444, 2222, 6969, 9999, 3333, 5555, 6666, 1122, 1313,8888,4321,2001,1010

@kev Yep, a caching plugin fixes it as you discovered. I'm not familiar with your CMS but for the more common case of Wordpress, installing WP Super Cache (or similar) fixes the problem at a stroke.

Say what you want, but there’s something immediately obvious about aqua-style controls. They stand out. You can see what’s interactive and what’s not in an instant. You can see what’s expected from you

Compare to modern flat design, where you have to look very closely just to understand what’s what and which parts you are supposed to touch

Someone needs to invent something worse than screens so that all the people who rabbit on about "screens" being bad will embrace them as "the wholesome alternative to (new bad thing)".

This is basically what has happened with kids' comics at this point.

I just used jQuery in a new project and you know what, I don't even feel bad. I just needed to hide all the elements with one class and show all the elements with a different class. A one-liner in jQuery and not in anything else!

Everyone turned against jQuery because it was a "big" dependency, which it kind of was... 10 years ago.

Nowadays people are importing 100x more JS without a second thought. jQuery is snappy compared to 'modern' websites.

I think @dbushell is correct that modern #Wordpress, at least the way they want you to do it, is a "CSS-in-JSON-in-HTML-comments-in-a-PHP-file" mess.

Luckily you can just ignore full site editing and the not-quite-React nonsense and continue to happily write themes in PHP/HTML/CSS.
