In 1994, Bill Clinton and a Democratic Congress passed an assault weapons ban. Mass shooting deaths dropped by as much as 70%.

In 2004, George W. Bush and a Republican Congress let the ban expire. Mass shooting deaths have TRIPLED since then and keep getting worse and worse.

Greg Abbott blames out of control Texas gun massacres on mental health problems — and Abbott should know, since he’s the one who slashed Texas’s funding for treating mental health by $211,000,000 last year alone.

BREAKING: Trump hit with court order in Manhattan hush money criminal case, FORBIDDING him from posting evidence from the case on social media without court’s permission.

This is more like it. No special treatment. ANY defendant doing what Trump did would be treated this way.

The two most despicable killers in America today?

Guns and opioids.

We've started holding opioid makers and sellers responsible.

It's time to start doing the same for guns.

DOJ believes there are GAPS in the security tapes Trump handed over.

How do they know? Because they ALSO received the tapes from the security vendor.

If we read between the lines -- DOJ has caught Trump trying to doctor the security footage.

Obstruction of justice. Slam dunk.

Trump will likely lose the Carroll case on 2 moments from his deposition — confusing Carroll with Marla Maples, and this “unfortunately or fortunately” line.

And that disgusting slow blink and half smirk afterward. Like he’s relishing all his predation.

Yes, Clarence Thomas should resign. But he won’t.

What really should happen is that a DOJ Special Counsel should investigate Clarence and Ginni Thomas, Leonard Leo, Kellyanne Conway, and Harlan Crow — all of whom likely broke numerous federal criminal laws.

The Supreme Court has been corrupted and must be totally reformed:

— full investigation
— term limit of 18 years
— ban the shadow docket
— binding code of ethics + punishments

Fortas resigned.

Thomas has been saying these were mere gifts from a friend.

But the limit for an unreported gift is $15,000 in a year. Thomas received many, many times that, every year for decades.

Did he report those gifts to the IRS?

Did he pay taxes on those gifts?

Now I’m thinking Clarence Thomas should be prosecuted.
