Weil es mich gerade wieder „einholt“. Wer ein Fahrradschloss sucht, sollte kein Abus kaufen! man sollte grundsätzlich nichts mehr von Abus kaufen, es gibt viele, qualitativ gleichwertige Alternativen!

@Cyb3rrunn3r @arbeitstitel Hab einmal ein Krypzonite gekauft. Hat weniger als ein Jahr lang funktioniert. Die Abus hingegen halten 10 Jahre und länger.

Macht es schwierig von Abus weg zu gehen.

I finalized my epaper calendar! 🤩
Calendar events are pulled from @homeassistant the device itself is running @esphome. It automatically shows as many entries as can be fitted on the screen, same day entries get grouped together.

Optionally a random quote can be displayed on the bottom or alternatively the next event of the day. The device is battery powered and uses deep sleep to extend the battery life.

@engler mir scheint halt immer wieder, dass Banken & Sparkassen gar kein richtiges Interesse an normalen Menschen haben. Die machen so wenig Umsatz und noch weniger Gewinn.

Und PayPal halt so: Wenn wir 0,01 € pro Transaktion gewinnen und 100'000'000 Transaktionen machen, haben wir 1'000'000 €. 🤑 Effekte von Skalierung halt.

@josh sadly besides all these people using matrix matrix's user experience is still pretty bad. 😡
Am pretty disappointed that matrix's user experience had not much improved in the last two years. I have mor the feeling it became less usable with more people using it.

    @engler was mir gesagt wurde, ich aber noch nicht selbst probiert habe: "falsche" Flaschen ohne Etikett abgeben, wenn es gleichartige Flaschen im Laden gibt.
    Beispiel: Laden verkauft Kolle Mate, aber nimmt Premium Cola nicht an. Dann versuchen ob Automat (oder Personal) die Flasche Premium Kola ohne Etikett annimmt.

    @kubikpixel meiner Erfahrung nach sorgt genau ansible für mehr Overhead und zusätzliche Arbeit.
    Kommt halt drauf an, wie monoton/einheitlich deine Server/Computer Infrastruktur ist.

    @piko angenehme/bequeme und dennoch schöne Kleidung/Schuhe. Hübsch/fancy sein strikt erlaubt.

    Wichtiger als irgendwelche Geräte/Gegenstände finde dass sich Personen wohl fühlen (können) und damit Interaktionen mit anderen Menschen einfacher fallen.

    Warum sollte ich als Fahrradfahrende eine Warnweste tragen. Autofahrer dürfen beim Aussteigen aus ihr Kraftfahrzeug doch auch ohne Warnweste auf der Straße sein.

    Hilariously, Apple tried to claim with a straight face to the EU, that it offers not one, but three distinct web browsers all coincidentally named Safari.

    Lucky for us the team at the EC dismissed this ludicrous gambit and painstakingly ripped Apple's argument to shreds. It is baffling to us why Apple's legal team is willing to sacrifice their credibility on something that has such a low chance of success.

    Falls ich (oder Personen die ich kenne) mal gefragt werden sollte, eine WebSite an Safari anzupassen, dann kann ich sagen, dass es den ökonomischen Aufwand nicht Wert ist, die Webseite an Web Browser mit nicht signifikantem Marktanteil anzupassen.
