"Florida will eliminate climate change as a priority in making energy policy decisions, despite the threats it faces from hurricanes, extreme heat and toxic algae blooms.

On Wednesday, the state’s governor, Ron DeSantis, signed the legislation, which is set to go into effect on July 1. The measure also removes references to climate change in state law, bans offshore wind turbines in state waters and weakens regulations on gas pipelines."

fwiw - it is an active project and was patched shortly after that article was published. all software have security issues.

    that's a weird bourbon. doesn't appear that stellum distills. seems they just buy product from folks that do and then blend it it all together. kinda like titos vodka.

    love the guys at glen's creek distillery. they buy the same generic vodka that is bottled and sold by tito's. glen's creek bottles and sells it as s'otit. the puffery on the bottle is excellent.

    Form claims a duration of 100 hours for its new iron-air battery. In its least dense configuration, a one megawatt system comprises half an acre of land.

    Form also has a sulfur-based flow battery in the works.

    Wow. A report by Roger Sollenberger from The Daily Beast reveals that the new Speaker, Mike Johnson, claims not to have ANY bank account or assets in his family worth $5,000. His financial disclosures for years have shown nothing. Is he really living paycheck to paycheck, or is he hiding his true net worth? I mean, the guy is in the top 12 percent of income earners. Something doesn’t smell right here.

    Groups federate content more effectively than hashtags

    The biggest advantage of groups is you see all of the group’s posts, even if they’re from accounts that haven’t federated to your server.

    With hashtag follows, mass federation doesn’t happen. Hashtag following means you will only see posts from accounts that already federate with your server. Hashtags are passive filters for your server’s Federated timeline and do not actively draw in any new content.
