I realised this is the first big Apple keynote I won't be livetweeting, but livetooting instead. If you want a full TweetDeck-style interface on the web, switch on the “Advanced Web Interface" option in the Appearance section of the settings.

You can also set up a multi-column view in Ivory.

Broke the toilet seat by sitting on it weirdly, and have duct-taped a temporary repair until I can somehow source a replacement, as this model has been discontinued entirely.

As a metaphor for indie software development, it’s a bit on the nose.

I've long longed for a quick entry shortcut on macOS, but for Reminders on iOS I just long press the icon and do “New in Inbox" (where I drop new stuff) and enter it. So what does Remind Me Faster add here — the ability easily set the due date, or just if you have lots of stuff in your list of choice it's easy to get... 🐿️?

This morning at 3:40AM I was awoken by a motion notification from my front door camera. Thought it was probably a critter but then saw small preview on my Lock Screen of a man on my front porch. 😱Needless to say that was scary as frak.

Turns out it was Amazon delivering a package. AT THREE FORTY AM. Since when has this been a thing for Amazon. Call me crazy but no one should be at my front door at 3:40AM 😳😡

Actively pushing against others to adopt your protocol is how you ensure that your protocol won't "win." I'm a firm believer that a decentralized protocol will be the future of social networks/feeds as we know them. I don't know if it is going to be or or something else. But I believe a decentralized protocol will be the future. But the winner will be the one that centralized-acting services adopt. That's a good thing for everyone. It means users have data portability. 🧵

I have been off of a bit of a design vision quest recently, exploring different ways to round corners. Which ultimately leads me to the use of complicated Bézier curves I don't fully understand, but I can't argue with their beauty.

QuadCurve corners are super good enough, but if you want to earn that Chef's Kiss then you gotta roll up your sleeves and use some math (even if you don't fully understand the math 😱 ).
