I did it ... 😊 I could not leave it be...
I ordered custom printed #keycaps from WASD for my customized #chrumm #keyboard showing the full #NeoQWERTZ layout. 😅 Plus the keyboards first FN-layer.

They arrived .. today 😀 and they are beautiful. Came out much nicer and less chaotic than I feared. Even though #chaos, chaosknot and fairydust-rocket are part of the design 😁

On top of that, I added o-rings for a softer key-press bottom-out.

Es sieht leider ganz danach aus, als ob der #ORF nun leider ernst macht und Benuter:innen von #MediathekView nicht mehr mit Content versorgt. Die Anzahl der verfügbaren Sendungen ging in den letzten Tagen dramatisch runter.

• ads are ubiquitous available information, to the point of being actively PUSHED onto every human reachable.
• for many people who don't actively seek other sources, it is the main source of information.

That"s not a good basis for a #democracy where informed citizens are supposed to make good decisions.

Finally finished my second #chrumm #diy #keyboard 😃 🎉

This version features -12° backwards tilt instead of -3° and is thus a bit higher.

It also features 20° split angle instead of 12°, which feels much better. On the MS Ergonomic keyboard, which seems to also have only 12°, I actually also used an wider arm angle so so that finger movement is more isometric over the diagonally arranged keys.

The body was printed with resin and the threading hole diameter needed to be increased for glueing.

The path to a better(?) parametrically generated #chrumm #diy #Keyboard is fraught with failed #3dprint s. 😅

On the FFF side, 3 prints with 3 filaments failed, before I could pin down the reason for it (all our filaments needed drying)

On the resin side, 1 print had the wrong parameters and 2 prints with high clarity resin bent away from the support structure and thus assembling became inviable. Also I further destroyed one of those while trying to fit a threaded inset into it. 😅

Built myself a #chrumm #Keyboard last week in standard configuration. (chrumm is actually a very cool parametric STL and PCB keyboard generator)

The goal was to see how I would do with isometric aligned keys.

So far, my experience has been great. No problem with the rectilinear layout per se.

The main annoyances so far focused on the missing F-key-row, the two missing keys on the left half that I need regularly and having to type '6' with the right hand instead of the left.

Na Großartig. 😔🤦 Die OMV hat bindende Gas Lieferverträge bis 2040 mit Russland abgeschlossen. Aus der Zeit als man befürchtete dass Gazprom uns zuwenig liefern könnte. Auch wenn wir anderes Gas kaufen, müssen wir Russland weiter ungeliefertes Gas zahlen. Bis 2040. 🤦

An schon früher eintretende Klimakatastrophe hat dabei wohl niemand gedacht. 🤦

Und was bringt ein Wechsel weg von russischem Gas, wenn wir weiter Geld zahlen und den Angriffskrieg finanzieren?

After evaluating GitHub #Copilot in various settings (ansible, golang, rust, python, CL) for 2 months I can now say that it can be helpful like at most 20% of the time but it turned out to be much less usefull than the initial examples, which friends demonstrated to me, let me believe.

Basically, at the current price, it's imho not really worth the money.
Or: At current usefulness it should imho be priced around 3 USD/m.

Never heard about #georgism before, though I've heard similar ideas I liked.

• pay tax on empty flats
• sell land only for limited time (hongkong)
• make state income by having people rent fixed non-consumable limited resources from the state
• continuously pay when public resources (e.g. land) are allocated to you (not sure where i picked this up, guess it's pretty much the same as georgism)
