After installation of the (what I thought only) necessary sway packages I got an empty screen. Completely empty. No #dmenu, no #waybar - no reaction for MOD4+d or any other key pressed. Obviously I missed the relevant README ;-)
At the end I got a working #Fuzzel menu with set $menu dmenu_path | fuzzel | xargs swaymsg exec
How would you do that? Each and every Toot is isolated and a far distance away from the "blog post from yesterday" - there is no blog roll or similar. (Yes, tags may help to find all of your blog posts, but...)
Here in #kbin you would create your own unique magazine - with your own rules. And you can enforce the rules because you are (the only) moderator. In a magazine you get an index page with a list of your blog posts for example.
Perhaps I should try it... if only I had topics to put into a blog... :-)
@cadusilva if you tweak (by any means) details of the configuration of the host then that resource will behave "better" - at least that is usually the goal.
You may enhance CPU frequency and RAM speed by overclocking, filesystems by at least a dozen of parameters and so on. If (and only if) these resources are being used by a VM (and usually they do) then the VM guest will benefit from that tweaking.
How could it not? But actually I am unsure if there are counter-examples...
Actually I have an external monitoring solution (#Zabbix in this case) and I want to monitor system properties like the motherboard temperature and disk #SMART data....
My main #Qubes hardware had problems (a #NUC with a fan malfunction) and I had to replace it. And because of the announcement of "4.2 rc" I was brave and installed that one....
While I will wait some days (probably until the "real" release) this is interesting:
"We are pleased to announce the first beta release of Proxmox Virtual Environment 8.0! The 8.x family is based on the great Debian 12 "Bookworm" and comes with a 6.2 kernel, QEMU 8.0.2, LXC 5.0.2, OpenZFS 2.1.11.":
Okay, fresh start in a fresh and new: Hello World!
While I did make some first steps into the #Fediverse (on more than one Server in parallel) I did not really grok the mechanisms and interoperability yet.
Probably I am just too old: my first "computer" was a #KIM-1 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KIM-1) and so my first language was Machine-Language. Hex-coded, not high level assembler ;-)
Whatsoever - no I try to understand Kbin Terminology...

What is the difference?
I am fighting to sort out the terminology. This is an article...
