It’s 1.75mm filament going into 2mm layers. lol, wtf. Still looks great, though.
Can someone explain or point me towards a good tutorial that explains how to match complex curves, like the PS5 side panels?...
Check your calendar
I really like the design and iteration process he goes thru.
EDIT: the clickbait YT thumbnail is garbage. This is actually a useful Blender tutorial that is short and direct without trying to bait you into plugins....

Folds down to fit inside a 1kg filament box. Upsidedown let’s the complicated moving bits be in the base where there’s less vibration. Krylan3D originally designed this to easily take in a backpack back and forth from college, but is now hired and working on designing other 3d printers. So the community has made improvements...
Hi guys...
3D prints still suffer from bad layer adhesion due to their 2.5D slicing and printing approach. I investigated if a novel slicing method that interleaves the layer could improve the strength of 3D prints.
I found this interesting. It’s a different view point than “buy the latest and greatest”.
This is super neat.
I have this incredibly loud noise coming from my Y-axis. It doesn’t affect print quality, but it is horrible to listen to and really loud. It is present when the Y-axis moves at ~100mm/s and gets worse/louder as speed increases....
I’ve always wondered if the expensive ones are worth it. There’s a part 2 coming.
Apparently some group has broken Bambus encryption....
This was a really concise way to explain layer lines and chamfers and fillets.
