Extremely #ADHD feels in the back half of the first verse of Bad Seed Rising’s 30 (for which I have to mumble the ages because I’m well north of 30):
My world turns too slowly
It's like a blur and it's passing by
Come Monday, come Tuesday
(I don't know, I don't know)
It's my life and I'm losing
God, time-blindness is just such a thing. How can you forget something you only needed to remember for five minutes? Because the human brain can do a whole lot of wandering in five minutes, and five minutes from now is something in the future. It’s close, but it’s not now.
