Yes, in 1948 & in 67, Israel was attacked & took more land as a result; the Arab countries have themselves to blame. But since that time, Israel could have shown the victor's mercy and made peace by granting Gaza/West Bank full independence.
They did not, continuing a settlement policy on West Bank & isolation of Gaza.
When people have nothing to lose, they risk all.
Same here and cost me discussions and accusations here by fanatics.
Indeed only a #twostatesolution will bring peace, but it will not work with Hamas and right wing Israeli fanatics on board. A UN peace force is needed.
