@GottaLaff Kinda like the old joke....man falls overboard, boat comes by with a life preserver - no thanks, guy says, "God will save me" Boat leaves as man flounders in the waves, and another boat offers help - same response.
Helicopter comes next - throws down a life line, man says "no, God will save me." Man drowns - at pearly gates he asks God - why didn't you save me? God says, what do you mean? I sent 2 boats and a helicopter.

This is so completely inappropriate. It is a failure of a secular society to not impart to these religious people, performing in a non-religious job, just how inappropriate it is.
The People's House is not a place for prayer circles. Do that kind of nonsense in your own home, or your own house of worship.

@GottaLaff The hypocrisy of most religions has been a major catalyst to most wars over the millenia of human life. How can a concept based on some fictional character that’s given the status of God or whatever s/he is called is no basis for human existence or survival. A daisy is more real than any divine being!
@GottaLaff Inconclusive - but now we have the photo/video evidence of the responsibility being transferred from guns to God, so we can remind the MAGA pro-gun murder mayhem crowd that it is, according to them, now God's fault. I'm sure they'll agree with that.
@GottaLaff yes... my wife and I have discussed this a couple times... these folks use... "Gods Got This".. and "Prayers will help" and do nothing.. NO DEEDS... it's just a release of any personal responsibility... and a "I don't really care about it" attitude.. it's just fake...

@GottaLaff Not sure he is offering prayers to reduce gun violence. More typically they are for the families of the dead and for the lives of the injured. Is there a quote?
